Arsenal Football shirt in flowers

May 30th, 2008 · 2 Comments

As a professional florist we make use of the huge range of Oasis products, particularly the foam frames for funeral pieces. Using Oasis foam frames couldn’t be easier or more cost effective. In the ‘olden’ days before Oasis, bespoke items could be made (using chicken wire, specially made wire frames and lots of moss) but would be incredibly time consuming. With a mossed funeral tribute, every single flower head had to be individually glued and stuck to the moss. Nowadays of course, Oasis make a huge range of funeral frames, including the football shirt pictured below.

As for sundries materials, of course the Oasis football shirt is needed, aswell as poly ribbon (which is box pleated) for the edge, holiday red oasis spray paint and silver letters (sprayed white) for the advertisers logo. Secondly, google images (Thank God for Google!) provide the Arsenal club badge and the Nike flash. (We then laminate these to make them waterproof). Arsenal football shirt: Click for larger image

This particular piece was for a local funeral we carried out today. Price for the finished tribute is available on request, the actual Oasis football shirt is competetively priced and is subject to a P&P charge. You can always call us on freephone 0800 0372025 to make any kind of funeral flower enquiry.
